RIUTEC 2025 has Finished

On September 25 and 26, RIUTEC 2025 was held in the Islas Malvinas hall of the CIN. We had 57 in-person attendees and another 50 virtual attendees representing 30 universities. The event featured topics related to Artificial Intelligence for both infrastructure and data management; Cybersecurity, covering the MISP project and security in the UUNN networks; Networking with talks on IPv6, projects such as RIPE Atlas; and Services such as Identity Federation and Virtualization platforms. There were 17 presentations in total. We discussed issues related to asset management, virtualization, and monitoring that affect our communities. We also discussed the role we must play in incorporating AI into network and service infrastructures in the future.
We mainly took advantage of the opportunity to meet and share experiences as members of ARIU. We’ll meet again next year for another RIUTEC!
